Project Overview
Octo Core is a cross-platform social network concept designed to connect gamers through a unified digital ecosystem. The platform allows users to share multimedia content, discover communities, and interact with other players in one place.
The Problem
Gamers often interact across multiple platforms depending on the type of content or community they want to access. This can create a fragmented experience where social interactions, content, and communities are spread across different spaces.
The Solution
Octo Core brings these interactions together into a single platform focused on connection and community. The experience was designed to support content discovery, social interaction, and community participation through a cohesive interface.
Visual System & Branding
The visual identity was built around the concept of an octopus, representing adaptability, intelligence, and multidirectional connection. The identity system combines a distinctive icon, vibrant accents, and a dark interface to create a visual language suited to the gaming community.
UI Design
I translated the brand identity into a flexible interface system across different areas of the platform. The layouts were designed to accommodate different types of content while maintaining consistent navigation, hierarchy, and visual language.
I developed wireframes to explore the platform structure and test different layouts before moving into the final interface. The process helped establish relationships between navigation, content, profiles, communities, and other core features.
The final concept brings the visual identity and interface system together into a cohesive social experience. The result is a platform designed to make gaming communities feel connected, discoverable, and easy to navigate.
